Avilés 5S Project (4th edition)

Last Thursday, GME and 5 other companies received the accrediting diplomas after passing specific training in the "five S's" methodology.

The 'Avilés 5S' project, led by the City Council and coordinated by the Asturian Quality Club, closed its 4th edition after three months of training in areas such as classification, order, cleanliness, normalization and discipline.

This year, Asturmasa, Fertiberia, García Munté Energía, Imsa, Nester and Tayma participated in the workshop. All of them highlighted the advantages of the methodology, which translates into time savings and a gain in competitiveness.

a drastic change

The 5S proposal also works for other spaces, as our colleague Angela Fernández (GME Asturias) explained.

Ángela explained the experience of García Munté Energía, which is participating in the initiative for the second time. In this case in the field of management:

We took advantage of the return to the office after confinement and the improvement has been substantial. We have gone from being ten minutes to locate a delivery note to having it in two; in addition to the peace of mind provided by locating it quickly

Here we leave you several links to be able to expand the information and see the delivery of diplomas where Ángela Fernandez, Juan Prieto and Javier Pérez (GME Asturias) participated.
