García-Munté Energía

The history of Garcia Munte Energia begins with a group of companies which all operated in energy sector.

In 1929, he purchased Cales, Cementos y Carbones de Pobla de Segur S.A, which was dedicated mainly to lignite mining and natural cement manufacturing.

In 1946, he formed a company called Mineria Industrial y Comercial de Cementos y Carbones S.A. which took over all the activites of the Group.
